I'm looking to buy my first lappy to replace my desktop (P4 2.6, 1 GB ram. Nvidia 6200).

I'm looking for a T8300 or T9300, at least Nvidia 9500 or ATI 3650 and 4 GB of ram. 14-15" seems good for portability and I'm looking to spend $1200-1500.

The two that have caught my attention are the Asus M51Sn and the F8Sn.

Anyone have any feedback or other recommendations?

I know some newer vids are coming out but haven't seen them in any laptops yet and not sure how much of a premium they will carry. Also are new procs expected any time soon. I need to buy by the beginning of august.

also, anyone know how to check is these have good display panels?
