well i have been trying to use metropcs phone on here in ghana but anytime that i put it on it says that roaming but i can make call or even receive calls but i cant do anything with the phone so i am asking for your help thank you

I would suggest that you call MetroPCS customer services and they would provide you all related information.

MetroPCS is only in the US. You can find a service where you are to unlock it to add it to another network but it's probably cheaper and easier to just get a local cell service.
