If I had to choose, I would pick the 8600 since the 8400 won't give you much in the way of gaming performance.

I searched for Vostro coupons but I'm not really sure what to be looking for. Coupon codes? And are there any sites that usually have them? --------------- Core 2 Duo e6750 | Thermaltake CL-P0144 | Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L | 640MB EVGA 8800 GTS | 4GB Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 800 | Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 HDD | OCZ GameXStream 600W PSU | LITE-ON DVD-R | Samsung 226BW 22' | Vista 64bit Home Premium |

I don't have any specific sites in mind. Some will give you coupon codes that you enter before you purchase and others just find you really good deals and them link you to them. --------------- LAPTOP: Sager NP5760|T7200|2gb DDR2-667| 100gb 7200rpm HDD| 512mb 7950GTX|17'' WUXGA Desktop: Core2 E7200 | Corsair 2gb DDR2-800 | Gigabyte EP35-DS3L | 250gb Seagate Barracuda | HIS x1650pro | Corsair VX550 | Antec 300 case |

I'm assuming your network at home doesn't include the N channel and if that's the case ignore the bottom two as they will be a waste of money. To be honest, just stick with the one they have selected. It allows you to use two very common channels and I doubt the Intel one would make any difference. --------------- LAPTOP: Sager NP5760|T7200|2gb DDR2-667| 100gb 7200rpm HDD| 512mb 7950GTX|17'' WUXGA Desktop: Core2 E7200 | Corsair 2gb DDR2-800 | Gigabyte EP35-DS3L | 250gb Seagate Barracuda | HIS x1650pro | Corsair VX550 | Antec 300 case |
