The situation is this: I just bought a new laptop (Toshiba A200-FS2), great laptop by the way!, and of course it came with Windows Vista Home Premium Edition on it which I absolutely hate. So I want to put Windows XP PRO SP2 on it, which isn't a problem, I know what to do and everything.. but the problem is Toshiba has no support for this model yet because it was just released this year according to them when I called them about it. So I'm wondering if I should wait for them to release the drivers so I can put XP on it then download the drivers from them. OR.. if I wipe Vista off and then do a fresh install of XP would it be just as easy to open device manager and see which devices need drivers then search for the correct driver on the web and install accordingly??
I'm thinking it might just be as easy to wait and get the drivers from Toshiba.. but who knows how damn long I'd have to wait for them to be released.. I check their site everyday twice a day to see if their there and no luck and the rep on the phone couldn't tell me when they would be released..
