I have a toshiba A105-S2081 laptop with a celeron m 1.6 ghz cpu, 715 mb of ram, new battery, new screen 40 gig hard drive, dvd/cd-rw in good condition.
--------------- When I die I want to go peacefully in my sleep. Like my grandfather. Not screaming and flailing my arms like the passengers of his car. |

No, that's probably about right, considering it has older and outdated hardware. --------------- LAPTOP: Sager NP5760|T7200|2gb DDR2-667| 100gb 7200rpm HDD| 512mb 7950GTX|17'' WUXGA Desktop: Core2 E7200 | Corsair 2gb DDR2-800 | Gigabyte EP35-DS3L | 250gb Seagate Barracuda | HIS x1650pro | Corsair VX550 | Antec 300 case |

The thing is I went on casforlaptops.com and their quote was $375. It also has software benifits (Office 2007) so I think I might raise the price to $300. Is this still reasonable? ? Message edited by gigman on 10-05-2007 at 11:27:41 PM |

Keep in mind unless you include a copy of the software or create a restore disk, when he eventually has to reinstall Windows, with out the software or restore disk the software will be gone |

Well I don't really mean to rip him off, what I meant was I if get a price from a reputable source than he will pay that price, he won't really bargain for it. Anyway, it does have an operating system restore disk and discs for all the software and I plan to Reformat before I sell. Also, does anyone have a good recomendation for a 500gig+ external usb and firewire compatable hard drive? |

Thanks for the info. I am uneasy about putting it together myself, but if it will save me money I'm 100% for it. As for the price I think I will comprimise and set it at $250. |

I go with an eSATA rather than SATA external connection along with USB. eSATA will be faster. Check these out. I don't think you can go wrong with a Seagate drive.
