please i have a digital satelite receiver that has internet support. can i use it to watch free channels over the tv?

I doubt it. You satellite is connected to the router for internet access. Unless you are watching IPTV, there is no way to decrypt the digital satellite TV signal. You need something to decrypt the digital satellite channel.
