Would you be so kind as to help give me some perspective on the benefit of using a CPU with high speed vs. the benefit of using a rendering/real-time Graphics Card with high performance -- regarding a PC's performance in rendering?...

Are there any real time / rendering Graphics Cards that won't make a difference in rendering performance in a PC with a Pentium 4 or Athlon XP CPU?

If so, what are the minimum specs such a Graphics Card needs to have in order to make a significant, noticeable and beneficial impact on rendering performance in such a PC system?

A display card/Graphic card will make almost no diferance when it come to rendering. It might make a diferance when Previewing transitions with special programd such as HFX or BorisFX.

A video editing card with Real time editing can cut the time needed to edit in more then 4.

And a fast CPU is alltime recomended for the time your editing card is out of resources as they can't do every thing. (Even if t's a multi K card)
