I'm in the market to buy a new laptop for. In searching, I've only seen one laptop that is lightweight and has the Mobility Radeon 9000 inside it (Apple Powerbook), which is too expensive and is an Apple so I can't get it. I wanted to get a laptop that isn't too bulky and has the Radeon 9000 inside. I was thinking about going with Dell's Inspiron 8200, but I'm not sure after reading reviews and hearing that it’s immense. Please submit any suggestions. |

Ok, the Dell I8200 is quite big, but the Sager 8886V is a mammoth in comparison, it is almost DOUBLE the weight of the I8200. If you want thin and light, this is not the way to go.

Right now, none of the Mobility Radeon 9000 notebooks are availiable in what I would consider a small form factor.

the 2800T is the lightest Notebook you will find with the 9000 mobility. Do they still have that irritating restore partition on the HD or is Compaq finally shipping full restore CD's like Dell does? |
