Hi: I have a Roberts 778x that needs a part that I can't name but I can explain. The part is a sort of pot metal or cast alluminum cam attached to the "Play" handle undernearth the upper (mechanism) face plate. It engages both the play and record functions. The one in this old machine is decomposed and I tried to fabricate a new one
from cast alluminum but without a schematic from the fragmentary parts. Now at least I can get it to play
but operation is very weird. Do you have this part, even a series of photos of the part with scale would allow me to reproduce the thing.
