I have a new nokia 6210 an the screen just cracked! it seems that the plastic they used is not as strong as the 6150, because i had that one for years and it is still in 1 piece.

I can still see everything on the little (electronic) screen underneath, because that is still in tact, so it is only the plastic "window" in the cover that cracked.

Since you can´t change the cover of the 6210, it seems i´m stuck with an cracked 6210? I didn´t drop it, sit on it, shoot at it or whatever, so do you think i could get a new phone from Nokia?

nope - not unless you can prove you didn't mishandle it. And tell them within a reasonable time - ie the last couple of days. Don't ring em up a month later demanding a refund - you won't get one.

After work, i put it in the pocket of my jacket just as i always did with my 6150 and when i arrived home after 45 minutes of driving the screen came out cracked. But i don't recall bumping into antything, so it's still a mystery...

I have recently bought an Ericsson T39m and i totally LOVE it! it's great! i've never been so happy with a cellular phone!

Ouch... that's gotta hurt...

I've had mine for over a year now and still it looks as good as new. Although, I've seen one of my friends 6210, and he's cracked his screen too.

It is possible to change the facias (covers) for your 6210. I have recently got new covers for my Nokia 6210 and replaced them myself just for the fun of it. All you need is the right type of screw driver and you can change the covers yourself.

You can get the covers from any mobile shop that sells covers. You can also get the screw driver from any DIY or a mobile phone shop.
