My replay is working perfect for over a year now. This past week I got a new
computer that is much better in handling video then my 5 yr old one, I just
got rid of. I never cared to see replay on my network until now. I would
love to be able to move shows from replay onto the new windows xp computer
with media center installed. I'm able to see all other computers on my
wireless network. Replay is hooked up directly to my wireless router with a
cat5 line. Any help? Thanks

Go to the Security section of XP and turn on windows Firewall.

I did try the firewall and I did allow the execeptions that the replay
website suggested. Still dont see it. thanks

You first of all need some software to "see" the RTV from your XP box. I
recommend using DvArchive (www.dvarchive.org).
Now if your XP box is connecting via wireless and your RTV is connecting
wired, it is possible they might be on different logical networks, you
would need to post both ip and subnet mask info of th etwo for me to
know otherwise.

Anyway, install DVA, fire it up and if it doesn't find your RTV in a few
minutes, try putting in the RTV ip address manually. Failing that you
are almost defintey on two different networks and you will need to make
some changes to your wireless router, so post the make/model etc.

Replays will not show up in "network neighborhood". To transfer shows
you need a program like DVArchive.

Thank you so much for your info. I cant tell you how many hours I spent
trying to find in on my network. I installed the program and within a minute
RTV icon came up. Thanks again, Bill
