To all you 6230i owners, wonder if you can help/check..

Okay the set up.

Make/receive a call, and at the same time play a recording, that you may
have recorded onto the phone (background noise).

Is that recording HEARD by the called/calling party??

(Ideal situation - if you hadn't thought of it- of playing a background
noise of somewhere that you're NOT at!! (airport/station etc). :-)

Reason for my request....

I have a 6230, and the above works fine, and quite handy to convince people
you're somewhere where you're not!

Just tried it on my 6230i and it doesn't sem to work :-(

No doubt Nokia will tell me "Well it's NOT a feature of the phone". Your
input may help? If your 6230i DOES do the above, then it would suggest I
have a problem.

NB s/w v3.40. Please let me know your s/w version also, in case it DOES work
with an earlier s/w version (v3.30), and maybe the functionality is lost
with the later (v3.40) s/w
