Server Folder Icons

Hey there, I am using an older server running 2003 R2 used only to store and transfer information on a small network. The computers connected to it are running Windows XP and 7.

My question, is there a way to change the icons on the folders so that everybody on the network can see the changes? I would like to make the folders different colors so that people can navigate them a little more easily when looking for what ever data it is the need. I changed the icons on the server already and can see it when logged into the server via RDP or when I am physically on the server, but when I go into the folders from my desktop the icons are the same and I don't have the option to change them.
