Hello,

I have a computer that was previously connected on-site (hard wired) to a corporate network. I am now attempting to connect it on-site to my home network. While I have a live Internet connection going into the computer, I cannot connect to the Internet. Is there soem sort of setting adjustment that i need to make?

You may have been set up for a static IP address. Go into your network settings and change it to automatically obtain anIP address. You will also probably need to change your DNS to automatically obtain DNS.

Also check Proxy settings. Best thing to do is to wipe the drive and re-install Windows. That computer probably has a ton of left over security policies that will cause issues.
