I have a WNAP320 that i use as a access point, i also have a UTM-10,JGS524E and a 9dbi external antenna i use with the WNAP320 my problem is the WNAP320 will not stay connected to any devices Laptops, Ipad's. I am able to connect to the access point for a very short amount of time but then the connection disappears and i have no access. I have been watching the WNAP320 status lights when this occurs and the radio light that shows when the radio is active the light is not on, also sometimes it will come on for a brief period then the light will go of. I have been doing some research on this issue and have found other people who have the same issue, i have also heard of bad units. Could i have a bad unit or is there a feature that i don't have enabled on the Access Point that is causing this to happen i have never had a access point do this before. I am also using the 9dbi antenna with the radio set to external output not internal.

I contacted Netgear about the problem went around in circles finally got some one who understood my problem, they checked and said i had received a bad unit since it was brand new they shipped me a new one via FedEx 2 day shipping cost around 24.00$ however FedEx did not deliver it on time so i was able to hagle and get my money back, i have had the new unit installed for 2+ weeks now and it works fine.
