My two year contract with Rogers in Alberta expired, on the 18th. What
does this mean in practical terms? Do I have to renew soon ... if I want to
continue to use my current cell number, and be billed by Rogers?

I'm a bit busy now and have only done a bit of research for alternate plans
with other celll providers. I am interested in getting a basic (I think)
bluetooth capable phone. I have a couple of digital cameras already
(including the tiny Casio Exilim S2), so i don't really want to pay extra
for a cam phone. I don't plan to text message much either. With no cam, even
a colour screen is not necessary ... except to appear "modern" !

The bluetooth is mainly to move tel. no.'s back and forth between Outlook on
my bluetooth-ready latptop.

Maybe it's better to buy the phone one wants on eBay or otherwise over the
net? It seems like Bell Mobility currently offers no bluetooth phones in the
Alberta market

Telus is offering no bluetooth phones in any of their "previously with
Rogers" offers/packages.

Rogers, interestingly has 3 different bluetooth phones that I could
re-sign-up with !! Is it worth sticking with Rogers? A lot of people i know
are with Telus or Bell now.

Thanks,

-RS-
