I buy all my batts from these guys:
http://www.nimhbattery.com/aa-nimh-batteries.php
and they always have the latest, greatest capacity.

These are rock-solid batteries.
Long history of great performance.
They also include the *actual* tested performance rating...not simply a
trumped-up label number (as many manufacturers do these days).

Maha battery ratings are legit, and often lower than the battery's true
output.

Thomas Distributing is fast, professional, and TOTALLY reliable.
Highly recommend.

2700 mAH is the largest I've found, but supposedly there are some 3000
mAH availale.

But the ratings are fairly mythical. Wait for the tests from
"http://www.imaging-resource.com/ACCS/BATTS/BATTS.HTM" on the higher
capacity cells.

I'll 2nd this comment about Thomas - I've been buying digital camera
use batteries from them for 4-5 years and they are great - excellent
service.

I even dropped my MAHA charger and wrote to buy a new one (I didn't
need the transformer) and they sent me one free!

I've bought their set of 4-NiMh AA's + charger for Christmas gifts for
several friends and relatives, too.
