Which would yield better performance tri-fire hd6950 2gb or cf hd7950, and what psu for tri-fire 950, 1000 watt? pro cons?

Having 3 card's eliminates microstuttering but creates so much heat and eats so much power. Short term, the tri-fire is better, long term, the 7950 is better. How about you wait for 7990? :)

The 7990 is tempting,but I already own two hd6950,what about a psu for the tri-fire setup?

Probably a good 1000 watts.
