My Specs:
Processor:AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor, Black Edition
Mobo:Asus M4A79XTD EVO (fully upgraded Bios)
Ram: 8gigs of Patriot Ram (don't have the specs atm)
GPU: PNY XLR8 VCGGTX4601XPB-OC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) OC 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI
PSU: Corsair TX750W v2

I'm really uncertain of what kind if GPU I should upgrade to. My mobo currently only supports CFX, I've been considering upgrading the mobo to am3+ with sli/cfx.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think that you do have to decide if you are going to do the motherboard upgrade and if getting two video cards is what you want. You should also let us know what the budget is going to be for the new card because since you have a 460 you are going to have to go with a 570 or 6950/6970/7950 and those cards are over $250.

I would like to avoid having to upgrade my mobo, however I also want to avoid any possible bottlenecks.

Another option however, is purchasing a new mobo with sli support, and getting an additional GTX 460.
