Can't decide between these two.
Two HD 6850s in crossfire or two GTX 560s (Not Ti) in SLI.

The 6850 which I have shortlisted is this one.

And the GTX 560 (non Ti) is by Asus. (Not the overclocked one)

Which one will give more performace?HD 6850 performs marginally less than GTX 560, but this one is an OC'ed version.
The place where I live, the price difference between these cards is 70$.
So I don't want to buy the two GTX 560s if they don't offer a good improvement over the 6850s.

I game on a 22" screen @ 1920 x 1080 and usually at the highest settings.
I guess an XFX 650 watt PSU can handle either of these cards?

The rest of my config is
i5 2500k
MSI P67A-GD55

It is on the line as far as your PSU is in question. According to Nvidia web site the card uses 150w. Two card is 300w. Min requirement 450w one card 650w Two cards.

Since the XFX is a tier 1 or 2 on the list of good and bad PSU's. I don't think you would have any problem running two non Ti 560's at all. Just remember you are on the line and sometimes it is better to up the watts a little.

Well the 560s are faster but the CF 6850s should offer all the performance you need. If you really want max graphics though you'll need at least 6870 CF.

This doesn't answer all your questions, but 2 thoughts:

-I'd pick the SLI over CF, because SLI tends to have better drivers. So, I'd go with the 560s if I were to go with a dual-GPU setup (though personally I prefer single card setups over SLI/CF)

-I'd recommend at least a 750W PSU for dual GPU setups.

AMD has a little more problems with there drivers. And the 560 Ti's are a very nice gaming cards. They were made for gaming. Here is a bench chart showing the difference between the two 6850's and the 560's good luck to ya

the hd 6850 is on par with gtx 460 and hd 6870 is on par with gtx 560 so the performance of the gtx 560sli will be better then hd 6850 cf so for those two you should go for gtx 560 sli.:)

I doubt your psu is enough for the 560s but it will probably do for the 6850s.

I'd suggest getting a single more powerful card if you can, driver support and shuddering issues are comon from both sides even tho nvidia does do better than AMD on it.

My suggestion is a single 570 or 6970 for about the same price as 2 6850s and not have to deal with the driver problems and microstuddering.

here you can see the game skyrim benchmark which is more cpu dependent then gpu you can see there in single card performance the gtx 560 is performing well so think in double card performance it will perform more better so gtx 560 sli is the way to go mate.:)
