Computer won't turn on

Forum Homebuilt Systems : Homebuilt Computer won't turn on

ok so this is my first build and i was sure i had everything together correctly.. than when i went to turn the computer on the fans turned for a second and the leds turned on for a second than everything just turned off again... anyone have any idea what i am doing wrong??

Sounds like there isn't enough power, what are the specs of the PC?

ok.. i'm dumb thanks for yall's help but i figured out that i had only plugged in one part of the power supply into the motherboard. yeah i'm dumb but all's well now :)
