[compatibility?]New gaming build

I was looking for a $700 gaming build but it looks like I need to buy windows so $800 is the magic number. Ill salvage dvd burner from old system. Planning to pick up a i7 when the price drops or I save some cash. Any input on this system would be appreciated.
