I have ~$450 to spend, I already have some parts.

I currently have -

- http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-ModXStre [...] 550&sr=8-1

- http://www.amazon.com/ENGTX550-TI- [...] 572&sr=1-1

- Windows 7 OS

I still have ~$450 to get the rest.

Im looking at the following parts -

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811147023

HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822136769

Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820233144

Motherboard - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B [...] PDKIKX0DER

And Im not sure about which CPU, I've found mix reviews on the two Im considering, Going by the reviews Im leaning towards AMD phenom II x4 960t black edition.

or a AMD FX 4100 x4 I've heard this processor is actually slower on windows 7 and has issues with my motherboard I selected (newegg reviews) How ever this was nearly a year ago, so I don't know. Which of the two would be the better pick? And how is my parts? Im near my budget but if needed I can change a bit.

As much as I want to I really can't recommend the FX, the 960T is decent but you'd be really wise to consider the Intel Core i3-2120 as it will run circles around both of those CPUs.

Try this:

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813121506 - Intel BOXDH67DLCB3 - $89.99
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115077 - Intel Core i3-2120 - $129.99

What about these two? I want to future proof my system so in the future I only need to maybe add ram and a new videocard etc.
