Hi! Everyone,I am looking at purchasing one of the following two mobos and i would like to know which is the better of the two.The GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3 or the Z68 PRO3 GEN3? Thanks
I would say the Pro3/Gen3 and the D3 are tied.
All Z68 mb's will perform very similarly at stock speeds .
Some will OC higher because of better heatsinks and/or BIOS
Both are good brands . Buy the one with the features you want and/or the right color

i personally like the z68 pro3/gen3 better than the gigabyte ga-z68AP-d3 but thats just me being a fanboy but yah theres really no diffrence between the two pick ur favorite or one that has the features you want
Both are more or less the same; although I would pick the Gigabyte as I've been using their mobos for some time now without problems.

Thank you everyone for your contributions it is most appreciated.I noticed that the Asrock board does not have a dedicated mSATA port to use say for a small ssd which the Gigabyte board has.Is this an impediment to it or is there a way around that?
