Your build is compatible, but not the best in one respect.

The 2500 will run in that Z68 based motherboard, but you can not oc the 2500, like you can the 2500K
It is definitely worth it to buy the 2500K and pay the smallish price premium. Your 3.3 cpu can then easily be a 4.0-4.5 cpu.

I agree - pay the difference and get the K. Also that video card isn't the best for the price. If you get the 560, get the TI. The regular 560 isn't worth it in that price range - go for this instead: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ [...] 6814102948

You will save $30 on the video card and that will make up the difference allowing you to get the 2500K.

should i buy a monitor or use my tv

What resolution is out TV using?
Is it 720p or 1080p?
If 1080p, it will be fine.
If 720p, consider a monitor.

Get a good 1080p monitor.
Maybe one that is at least 20 inches.

would it make much of a difference if i changed the EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) to EVGA GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi)

The GTX 560 is slightly weaker than the GTX 560 Ti.
However, the GTX 560 can overclock to GTX 560 Ti performance, maybe more.
If you can overclock it, it's a reasonable choice.
If not, I guess you can live with it.
It's a good card at the end of the day.

Absolutely - if you can you should definitely reuse your HDs right now - the shortages have caused HD prices to skyrocket.
