Hi
 
My PC and Phone are both bluetooth compatible and communicate fine.
However, when I back my photos up from my phone to PC it takes ages as
I have to do it one at a time (The phone will not bulk send photos by
bluetooth - I checked). I read somewhere that there is some software
for your PC that will allow you to view the photos on your phone and
then transfer them.
 
Does this software exist? and if so what is it called? is it cheap and
will it definately work?

You can do it from Explorer:
 
1. Expand "My Bluetooth places" (Click on the + besides it in Explorer
Folder Tree pane (The left pane).
2. Select "Entire Bluetooth Neigbourhood"
3. You will see your Phone in the right pane. Right click on it and
Choose "Discover available services"
4. When ready you should see the services your phone supports. Double
click on "Obex File Transfer on <Your Phones Bluetooth Name>"
5. You can now browse inside your phones folders. Just copy the files
over to the desired target folder by drag and drop like with any
normal files. You can multiselect with Ctrl+Mouseclick or select all
files in a folder with Ctrl+A.
 
This guide uses the Widomm Bluetooth drivers as example, which are the
ones most people use, but others should be similar. Make sure your
devices are paired and the File Transfer services authorized (should
be automatically when the devices are paired).
 
 
In case you have a Sony Ericcson phone you can also use FMA:
http://fma.sourceforge.net/
It has a host of functions including Up and Download from/to the fone,
Syncing Calendar, Contacts, Sending SMS from the PC and tons more. But
it only Supports Sony Ericsson fones, best is: its free.
