Archived from groups: comp.sys.laptops (More info?)

I need to know it if takes 32 bit PC Card, or if it only supports 16 bit. I
have tried with a brandnew Topcom Wireless 32 bit cardbus model 3011, but it
didn't find it at all. The ports it ok, it finds a old 3com fine. IBM's
homepage says thatit can take 32 bit cardbus but in real life apperently
not! According to IBM it supports the following :

1xtype III og 2xtype II og 2xtype I support, og det er PCMCIA 2.1 and
Cardbus.

At the bottom of the page it says:

Two Type III slots (side by side)
PC Card Standard 95 compliant
CardBus compliant (PCI 2.1 / 32 bit)
8/16 bit PC Card support (no Zoomed Video)

Requires no PCI-to-PCI bridge

There is installed W98SE DK on it and it runs just fine, except for this
probleme.

I have tried with te program "Cardbus find" but it says that cardbus is not
available.

If anyone know why this is plz tell me
