I want to give someone this card because I no longer need it.

"T-Mobile GPRS Card is a miniature marvel of communication engineering,
providing your Notebook PC with an array of communication capabilities
in one tiny package. Simply slot in a SIM card, install the software
and plug it in and your Laptop PC becomes a versatile mobile
communications device with full wireless Internet access. "

I have only 1 such device, it's almost new, opened - but in it's
original package, and it's fully operational and comes with the
original software on a CD-ROM (German and English), and a Reference
Book in German only. Installation is easy you just have to insert the
CD-ROM, install the software and then plug the card into PCMCIA slot).

I don't need this card any more, and I wish to give it away for free.
Yes, this is correct, I'm giving it away for free.

This device is available SIM free and unlocked. SIM card from
cellphone can be used to make it operational.

If you are interested, I can send you this T-Mobile GPRS PCMCIA Card
(you pay for delivery only). Contact e-mail: uhfx(at)yahoo.com

You might try alt.cellular.gsm.carriers.voicestream (voicestream is
now T-Mobile). Or Craigslist.org if you have one near you.

There's a reason why no-one wants it. In my case it's the expense of
GPRS. $20/month additional per phone isn't very interesting to me...

Unlimited GPRS at $20/month is quite an attractive deal if your area
has coverage. Mine doesn't or else I'd be quite interested in one of
these cards.

will the Sim chip from another phone network work (Cingular?) or do you have
to use T-Mobile?

Not so bad, and very convenient. A heck of a savings over my old
Verizon Wireless Broadband deal - $80/month plus taxes and fees. I got
this set up in tandem with home DSL and a T-Mobile HotSpot account -
still cheaper than Verizon and faster in the places I spend the most
time.

It's not $20 per month, it's $29 per month, $35 activation, and by the
time they add all the hidden charges it's almost $34 per month, I know
as I have one. It's worth every penny if you travel a lot.
