For some reason this URL
http://apps5.oingo.com/apps/domain [...] format=1.3
has become associated with my website address on my computer. So when ever
I try and load my website via www.sithicus.org the above site is loaded
instead. I have tried deleting my cookies, history, and cache files which
has not helped. Can anyone tell me where to look for the file program that
might be causing the problem..

thanks for any help

Have a look at the Hosts file in your Windows folder.

Should be located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc (alter C:\Windows if
this is not your default installation).

If it contains anything other than ...
****************************************************************
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

.... and anything else you deliberately put there, restore it to the above
text between the lines of asterisks (but not the asterisks).
