Nice rig's your daughter has one good rig
and your rig is just out of this world sick!
Message edited by tecmo34 on 05-02-2011 at 05:24:27 AM
Here's a pic of my rig. Yes, I know it is a complete mess as far as wiring goes and I probably should clean it up, but I haven't gotten around to it.
Specs:
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66Ghz (lapped)
-SpinQ CPU Cooler
-Intel DP43TF MOBO
-W7 Pro 64 bit
-XFX HD5830
-8GB PNY DDR2-6400
-750 Watt Corsair PSU
-X-Fi Titanium Pro Sound Card
-Liteon BD-ROM
-Phillips DVD/RW
-V.Raptor 300GB
-Various Other HDDs
It's outdated of course, but it still runs great. If all goes well, I plan to build a new rig sometime over the summer.

Thanks German, I'm not crazy about the sticker either never even played the game, it was a slightly overclocked model of the 580GTX series from EVGA and I got a good price for it, the case is an Antec 900/2.
The case looks good, and cools good, but is a little tight for my big hands to get around in.

Just built this about a month ago. Bought a p67 mobo because I plan on getting either a 2500K or some new ivy bridge processor later, and crossfiring the 6850.
i3-2100
ASUS 6850
Ripjaws 2x2gb
Antec 650w
MSI P67a-GD65
Lian-Li k58w
Random 1tb HDD
Total -- $685
Here's a youtube video! Freshly uploaded.
Specs are in Sig. It's over a year old now, with only the video card upgrade from a GTS250 to a GTX460 about 8 month ago. The next upgrade will probably be a SSD, and maybe another GTX460 (I don't play any games that really need more than that, and that should last me until Ivy Bridge upgrade next year).
I have the 230mm fan on the side panel.
Desk layout
Added:
I've since updated to a Sandy Bridge i7-2600K, with a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 mobo with 16GB (4x4GB) of G.Skill RAM. I also have a HIS HD Radeon 6950 2GB GPU. (Sig isn't updating correctly) The rest is the same.

Dayummm Saint. Give me some of that money! I wanna build my dream build so bad... Too bad it costs $1200.
I removed cage and....
This is what the older inerad was like
I can now put in longer cards in my pc
and I overclocked my 2.9 to a 3.2 (at 3.4 it burns up cuasing MAJOR lags in games within 20 mins) I will get a new CPU cooler or at least try. I will be getting a 6 core CPU. Soon my mid level will be nearly high end
. The case is a ULTRA xblaster. I need to manage the cables
.

Nice rig. How quiet is it? I have nearly finished my build in a Corsair 600 T and concentrated on both quite and cool. I modded out the top 200mm fan for 2 X 120 mm fans (going with the Xigmatec Crystal Whites). The top fans give me about 120 cfm as opposed to the 80 cfm of the single 200 mm fan. I also modded out the corsair black rear 120 mm fan for another Xigmatec.
I am waiting on the last piece, the Antec H20 620 to replace my CPU cooler.
I'd be interested in exchanging info on temps and noise when my rig is done.
