Need a future proof motherboard

Forum Motherboard & Memory : Motherboards Need a future proof motherboard

Word :    Username :

I was going to buy the p8p67 pro but with the next generation of intel processors being announced I heard that it is better to have a motherboard with pci 3.0 and not 2.0 like this motherboard. Can anyone tell me a better motherboard?

Yes, if they have PCI Express 3.0, they are the latest versions and they will work, when released, u will just upgrade the BIOS and there u go : )

It should be that easy.

Im not saying that anything is future proof but a motherboard with pci 3.0 will have more longevity then a motherboard with pci 2.0.
