Hi!!
My name is Arek, I am from Poland

I have small problem with my NEW laptop: AMD 64 bit 3000+, 512 MB RAM,
GeForce 5700 Go etc etc. and with 15'' LCD monitor
This laptop is whole new. I have already LCD monitor - philips 150S for
last 2 years!
So I exactly know what LCD monitor means!

The problem in my laptop is screen`s flickering and blinking - I don`t know
how should I write this!
I swear that this LCD in my laptop is flickering, has some small refresh
rate or something like this.
And my other LCD (in desktop computer) doesn`t!! So help me:
- is this normal in LCD in laptops?
- do you know some program, which checks screen`s refresh?
- do you know where is problem??

Other infos: I have in laptop Xp SP2, new Forceware DRIVERS to my GeForce.
I work without batteries - battery is off!

No!

It's not a CRT, it doesn't refresh.

If the backlight is flickering, that means the hardware is broken.
Take it back to the store and get it fixed.
