Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.configuration_manage (More info?)

I am running Windows XP, SP2 on an HP laptop.

I use a GPS Bluetooth device with my Pocket PC and my laptop. It works fine
with the Pocket PC, but no longer works with the laptop. Bluetooth assigns
the device to Port 6, but when I look at the Device Manager, there is no Port
6. My mapping software does can not find the port. It only shows ports 0
and 4 which do not appear in the Device Manager, Ports.

How do I get this corrected?
