Hello,
Can I fix a faulty external enclose error on my seagate ext hd. My compute does not recognize the drive. It worked before....

If you could remove the hdd from the enclosure then connect it directly and bypass the enclosure you should be able to access your data and then you can either get another enclosure or try to fix the broken one.

Why do you think that it is an enclosure problem, when plugged in and data cable attached to computer does light not go on and drive not seem to be spinning?

Do you see the drive in Windows Disk Management and not in Windows Explorer?
