1045t and Gigabyte 990fx aud3 voltage question

Forum Overclocking : Motherboards 1045t and Gigabyte 990fx aud3 voltage question

I have figured out how to overclock my locked 1045t to a modest 3.3 Ghz while leaving most of the settings in "auto".

My problem is that the motherboard is upping the voltage over 4 volts and my cooling system can only keep prime 95 temps below 55c for about 20 minutes.

I wanted to slowly back the voltage and fq down until I found a stable point my cooling could handle. (It's just a little better than stock cooling)

My problem is the "impending doom" message I get the second I switch the voltage to "manual" in the bios.

I don't even have to change any of the settings. It just says the "voltages are not optimized."

What's the best way to find a sweet spot between speed, voltage, and heat? And why is my bios saying "not optimized" before I change a single voltage?
