Forum Overclocking : CPUs Core temp vid problem

I am new to overclocking i currently have an i5 2500k running at 4.5. My cpuz is reporting a core volatge of 1.224v, but my core temp is reporting a vid of 1.376v. Should i be concerned, or i guess a better question is which on is correct? My temps are averaging from 45C-50C at 100% load. Thank you for your time.

I'd go by the CPU-Z reading.
I use CoreTemp and i don't know how you have yours set up but mine doesn't display
cpu voltages.
I'd use my bios to determine if the cpu voltage correlates with Cpu-z.

You can go by the CPU-Z voltage which should match your bios core voltage.

Here is one definition of VID:

Core VID

This is the Minimum and Maximum voltage that your processor will request from your motherboard when the Voltage is set to AUTO or Default in the bios. Depending on your motherboard and how it is set up this voltage request may be ignored. Core VID is a suggested voltage and may not be the same as the actual core voltage that your processor receives. Use a program like CPU-Z to report actual core voltage. Core VID is no longer supported with the new Core i7 processors.

Also, your temps look really good! As long as your OC is stable, you have a really great chip! :)
