Hello,
Im new at this, is it worth OC my saffire 7950? i have the CCC obviously and i can push it to like 1200MHz on core clock,, is that even possible or does it work? i have heard MSI afterburner is good?

If you're new to it stick with CCC, move the clocks to max and move you power settings to +20%. Try some games, if you notice an artifacts on the screen or anything strange then lower the clocks by 10 Mhz (or 5 if you have lots of time) and try again. Do that until you're OC is stable. And yes it does work, you can get GPU-z or MSI afterburner to monitor your temps and frequencies.

thx, i will give it a go and post how i go. when i get time to do it,
I did notice before on one of my games, i was on about 47 fps and i had my clock up to like 900 i think. but had crashes every now and then. So i put it back to stock which is 850 i think. And i dropped down to about 40 fps.. but i will havew a go later on and post my results
