I5 2500k High Voltages, No Stablity

I Can't Seem to get my i5 2500k stable at 4.5ghz. I've tried every possible BIOS setting and still no difference. Im at 1.4vcore and i don't want to go higher than that, i would like to be around 1.35v if possible

Do i have a bad chip?

Hardware:
CPU - i5 2500k, 212+ Push Pull
GPU - GTX 560 TI Twin Frozr III
Ram - 4gb 1600 ddr3 9-9-9-24
PSU - Thermaltake TR2 RX 650w
HDD - 1x 500g Western Digital Blue
Mobo - Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 F7e (beta) BIOS - Tried other Bio's all same results

28C* Idle 68C* Load @ 4.5ghz

1 Core will fail in prime 98 After about 50 minutes all the rest are fine (using FFT)
Prime 95 will BSOD in a couple of seconds if i run Blend mode (About 70% of the time) and the other time it will crash in about 10 minutes.

EDIT - Forgot to mention that with underload its drops to 1.36vcore (LLC On aswell)

Seems you're overdoing it, changing too many settings. Try some of these guides or find an equivalent for Asus

I think you memory is not enough for prime95 try adding more DDR3 1600 MHZ make it 8GB total. Then run prime 95 again.

@aqe040466 Eh? You don't need a certain amount of RAM to pass Prime95...

@AK_Farthera, if Memtest is failing then try removing one of the sticks of RAM and testing each stick individually, it may be that one of your sticks of RAM is faulty.

Before you do that you may want to try setting the QPI/VTT voltage back to AUTO and re-testing the RAM.

Also your RAM is slightly undervolted, maybe try 1.66V for DRAM.

Reset vtt to auto, Now going to tinker around with Ram

Did you test each stick of RAM individually with memtest?

Yeah, i just tested them and got some errors, I Guess im going to get some replacements

I Only got 1 error though? Is that enough to make it a bad module?
