Hi Guys, I have a situation where I have a Rs485 network for particle scanners through a converter to usb Port on Xp machine. All will run well for a few days then I lose comms with the scanners all at once. Restarting the application reveals " com port unavailable". Device manager shows all is in order. Only fix is to reboot. Please help to find the spanner in the works? Could anti-virus ( kaspersky) be the culprit ?
