Well yesterday I recived my 2gb gskill ram. I got the ram in loaded bf2 and every thing seemed great gameplay was much smoother as to be expected. I then opened up CPUZ and the screen made some artifacts and then went blank. However, it seemed as if the computer was still running. Then I loaded up NFSC and when closing I got the same freeze.

After that I ran memtest86 for 3 hours and got no errors what so ever.

Before I had put the Gskill in I was running 1gig of OCZ2 6400 and didn't have a single problem.

If any one has any advice before I RMA the ram im open to any suggestions.

System at hand is
4200+
ecs k8m890
1Gig OCZ2 now 2gig Gskill
ATI HD3850
Antec neo HE 550watt
WD 160gb HD

Hey, first I would put the old stick of ram back in just to test it. If your all good when the old stick is in there, you have narrowed down the problem to the new ram. If its not the new ram, i would say its probably a power supply problem..... hope that helps.
