Yes 700W should be enough to CrossFire 4870. Imo, stick with the Corsair 750TX. The Corsair PSUs are top of the line. I recommend Corsair and PP&C. Consider this PSU too: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817703009 The P5E is a good board but why not get a newer P45 based motherboard? If willing to drop CrossFire go with one of these: If you need CrossFire: Overall, very good build. from what I can tell the reactions to 2xPCI-E2.0 x16 are mixed, some say future games and crossfire will get a much larger boost than with a x16 x8 config, or a x8 x8 config. THough I'm not sure if it's worth the extra 100 |

By the time that 2 PCIe x16 is needed your rig will be ancient. 2 PCIe x8 is fine for now. --------------- E2180 @3.2Ghz + P35DS3L +8400GS (700/475 OC) ![]() |

Also, about the case, it has the powersupply located on the bottom of the case? Bad or good? |

And could someone tell me whether this RAM is a good choice for OCing? I'm only looking to push it to 4.0 at the very top, most likely only 3.6 (which doesn't require an OC right?) |

Don't know about how the OCing will be on that RAM. As long as the PSU has long cables a bottom PSU is fine. --------------- E2180 @3.2Ghz + P35DS3L +8400GS (700/475 OC) ![]() |
