More Information

After being bored out of my skull for a few days I came up with my revised computer build. The first post/build had been essentially copied out of a magazine. But since this site offers so much more information, I decided to revise my computer build.

Ok first off, NO on the nvidia board. There is no reason to get them unless you plan to SLI. Get a X48/38 if you want to get two video cards (Xfire).

+1 for both dopekitten and shadowduck, nvidia chipsets are absolute crap. The Rampage Formula is a good mobo if you plan to overclock. I got the same cpu and mobo, and have it up to 3.6ghz. My VID for the cpu sucks tho, its 1.25. |

1.25 isn't bad at all, what are you talking about? It ins't bad until you start getting like 1.4 or so... |
