I was working on saving up some cash for a new system for gaming
I want dual flat screen monitors. One of which I wanna run a whole buncha Age of Conan on.
So I figured I'd check with the pros here to see if this is a decent build.
Any suggestions to make it faster/ better/ more future ready

for the amount of money i am guessing you are spending there the big thing that will let it down is the graphics card, complete waste of money buying a 1gb 9600gt i would say the best thing you can do is upgrade it to the 512mb 8800GTS or wait untill the new generation of graphics is realease (rumoured to be within the next month)

also 8GB of ram is not really needed at the moment, ok its nice as a bragging point but to be honest i would be supprised if any software used all that ram

vista ultimate? any reason for this? home premium is got pretty much everything the home user is likely to use, check out the windows website to find out exactly what 'extras' you get on ultimate ove premium and see if you would actually use any of those features

and processor cooling, well you can get considerably better cooling than the intel ones, arctic freezer is launching a new one very soon called the Freezer Xtreme which according to the info is nearly as good as water cooling

Life's a bitch: Be its Pimp

I agree ^

However i only see 4 gb of ram...which is a good number

The 9600gt is going to slow things up...getting a 1gb version will make no difference. If you want a quicker card go with th 8800gts 512 or wait.

So Itll be like 3 months before I have enough cash for this so I'm cool with waiting for these new cards. A few questions though.
What are the new cards called? I prefer nvidia.
How much will they be? Should i get a 512 or a 1mb of the new one?
PCI-E? Will one card be good? I don't wanna hafta trouble myself with SLI unless I gotta.

Also would there be any disadvantage to putting 8g of ram in there?
