More Information

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the new Lian-Li PC-8 case seen here

http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/produ [...] s_index=62

I'm looking to find out if you can put the clear side panel from the 6&7 series on the pc-8 as I cannot find a clear side panel for the pc-8. The pc-8 is basically a modified version of the pc-7, so I'm thinking it will fit, but I thought i'd ask around and see if anyone had any info. I've exhausted my search button and I simply cannot find an answer I trust.

Thanks all

ps. Found a link to the clear side panel, doesn't say it fits the 8 series but it's fairly new so the retail site could just be out of date on it's info and contacting Lian li is not as easy task.

Yeah it does look pretty amazing, thinking of going with a green 120mm fan in that front fan grille and going with the DFI LP UT P35 T2R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX +TRUE HS for a green/silver/black look in the case.

Bump.

You tell me what I do.
More Information

nope.not worth it.look for something else with better cooling and clear side panel as STANDARD.

Sounds like you've had a bad experience with Lian iluvgillgill =P, may I ask why it's not worth it?

The case although a bit flimsy aluminum seems to be a great mid tower without looking like a case built for a Rave. I'm just tired of seeing shinny black with blue lights everywhere on cases, want something elegant and professional.

You tell me what I do.

i mean in general all those original option/aftermarket/customised side panel is expensive and doesnt worth that much. but if you cant DIY then you got no other chances.

but LianLi in general give very decent cases. but if you are after clear side panel. look for a case that come as standard. it works out better for your wallet.

More Information

I'm not worried about money, just trying to find out if I can get a clear side panel for this case, since I do like the case.

You tell me what I do.

then go for it if money is not an issue.

More Information

Still looking for someone who either has the case with a clear side panel or knows of one that does in fact fit.

More Information

Should have a couple of these within a week or so. I have another Lian-Li with the windowed side panel. I'll let you know.

*Ok, I got them about a week ago. The side panel from my PC-65 fits perfectly. Also, you may want to know, that the card slots have the same thread pattern as regular Lian Li thumb screws (this case does not include them on the card slots as the more expensive models).
