Alright I just bought a new computer, it came with two nividia 9600 gt sli'ed. And I think only one of the cards is running.. Is there any way to determine whether both cards are infact working. When I recived the computer the sli jumper was hooked into one of the cards. I had to hook that up. Also, in the nvidia control panel I have it sli enabled. I still think it is running just one card. 3dmark 05 is very similar to the one I ran with a 9600 gt alone. 850 watt heavy load psu, so I know power is not an issue. here is my system.

I'm not reading all this; sorry, but you really did not have to include each and every dll and driver...

Wow... longest post. Any how, just try each one individually. You will probably be able to easily figure it out if one of the cards is messing up. |

3dmark is not a good test to run. 3dmark06 you may get 1500-2000 more points with SLI enabled. Also, gaming at low resolution without fsaa is not going to show you a difference. There is a visual indiactor that can be enabled in the nvidia control panel that shows you is sli is working. I find it best to play some games with sli enabled and disabled and fraps diaplaying the fps. If there is not much of a difference up the enable 4xaa and try again. --------------- MSI P6N SLI Platinum, Q6600, 2GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC8000, SLI BFG 8800GT OC 512MB, SB X-Fi Fatality, Antec TruePower Trio 550W, Windows XP pro |
