that heatsink usually comes with a manual fan controller. if it didnt, go to newegg and lookup the zalman single fan controllers that are a couple bucks. just turn the fan down. if your processor is running at stock speed, turning down the fan to be inaudible should stiill be sufficient cooling. --------------- If you don't know what OS/2 is, you don't understand. |

Its an Asus board it should have Q-Fan? I havent seen a Asus board without Q-fan option. |

There are 2 things you can do to fight the noise.

Yes i do have in Bios terms that start with ''Q-Fan''. but i cant assign speed to it.

Q-fan should let you control if its enabled. If its disabled it should run 100%
