Just wondering who's running 8 gig of ram and if you are, what is your ram/mobo combo. Also what has your experience been

I have 8 gig of OCZ DDR2-800 ram running on a ASUS X48 Formula Rampage motherboard. Everything works fine.

I have 8GB of A-Data DDR2-800 1.8v in a GA-P35-DS3L and I've never had a lockup or hang, not a single time.

Not exactly 8... but 6GB of OCZ Rev.2 Platinum DDR2-800

P5B Deluxe
C2Q6700
Vista Premium 64-bit.

I'll get 8GB as soon as I have 100$ aside to get another 4GB set to replace my last 2GB set.

Everything works as smooth as possible.

I am running 8GB of Corsair XMS2 on the Rampage Formula with an BFG 8800GTX OC2, 4x Western Digital Caviar 160GB, TRUE heatsink, Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570, Q6600 B3 edition :(, and a X-Fi Fatality Pro.

G. Skill PC28000 8GBs (4 x 2GB) F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ
ASUS Maximus Formula SE X38

Running for months now at 1066MHz. 2.1+v. with NB set to 1.43v. Currently like it at that speed with 5-5-4-13 timings. Have a little more headroom and tightness left regarding the RAM. Dream machine to me with Vista 64. With DELL shipping no more XP units as of June 18, maybe the company will start building VISTA 64 systems and the OS will become more mainstream.
