Just wondering how much you guys like the new THF update.

I would personally have the older format back. This is mainly because...

1. Latest News/Reviews section is just distracting and takes too much screen space.

2. The Forum topics don't rotate on the main Toms page.

What I like about the update is...

1. The new quick access to the bookmarks, find, etc.

i personally like the old format better just because i think i was so used to it. the new format will take time to adjust to, but i think i'll like it the same nonetheless. although, the forum topics don't scroll like you mention, i miss that!

The whole 1 to 10 format is flawed since I can only choose up to 5.

Anything different takes some getting used to. But I do feel like information is easier to find.

I Like it...
again as everyone else stated no scrolling forum topic.
it is nice that they now have a post count beside it though..

I like the way it was a few years ago though...
layout didn't matter... content does... and we are lacking good content

I want to see more headlines, and more forum topics - the number of them should not have changed. lots of wasted space now.

I'd like the new format if it had more news articles and threads on the right side. They seemed to have reduced that or done something with it.

I usually check Toms for the forums/news a few times a day since the articles only get updated once a day it seems.

+1 on that. There were minor issues with the scrolling with FireFox 2, but I have been using FireFox 3 for some time now and it was working flawlessly. :(

that it weird.. I didn't have a problem with firefox 2, however occasionally with ver 3 beta 5, it wouldn't load them all and had to refresh page to get them all to load

The problem I had on both my installations was the behavior on "mouseOver" and "mouseMove" (sorry for the programming references). The topics would still scroll when the cursor was "between" 2 topic titles and/or would scroll faster when moving.
