I will start off by admitting my ignorance. Please respond with your thoughts and feel free to add idiot or moron at the end of your replys. I just purchased a quiet power p-180 case. I have not chosen what hardware to install in this case. I have a budget of about 1500 this is flexible. My goal is to do some overclocking, with some major watercooling, to achive some pc gaming bliss.

From what I have read so far it seems like just adding cooling blocks to the stock watercooling system that comes with this case will not be enough to do some overclocking. What kind of problems will I run into with the cooling system using 3/8 tubing? Seems like most blocks are not made for 3/8. My idea was to fit a second watercooling system inside this case. Find a Rad that would fit in the bottom of the case next to the intake fan(need suggestions here). Add a second pump. Use T brackets near Res so both systems could use it(dont know if this will work).

I have been eyeing the 780i board from evga and the evga 8800GTX cards. I would like to go with an intel quadcore. Maybe a couple of WD Raptors. Im lost when it comes to ram, and power supply. I need alot of help here becuase I dont know what combinations of hardware will run smooth together while being overclocked, and then what watercooling blocks to get that will fit that hardware.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The only thing Im sure about is the p-180 quiet power case becuase I already own it. I am in no hurry to complete this project. Starcraft 2 doesnt come out for awhile :)

The watercooling system should be fine for overclocking without adding a second cooler. Why add a second cooler?

Unless your going SLI, I would go with P35,X38, or X48

I would recommend this PSU

Decide on Mobo before you decide on RAM

You can try 790i, but it's expensive, and I'm not sure how much improvement it offers, if any.
