my pc sucks because i do not think there is any new hardware that justifies me upgrading, the reason toms charts are out of date is that it is a sh!t load of work to do them and they have always only reviewed them periodically.

This site is here to help people. It's free. If you want to see things when you want them, then you better buy the cards yourself and benchmark them. You don't pay for this site, you have no right to demand anything from it.

And, really? First, if your PC is so hot, why don't you post it? My machine is pretty darn aged and it runs like a champ, I'm willing to bet strangestranger's runs pretty well too. It takes a lot of hard work to get older machines running well. Testament to skill.

And, lastly, just because you have a lot of money to spend on hardware doesn't give you the right to say you're better than anyone else.

Now you are just being silly. He may have gone about it the wrong way but I too find the charts lacking with info i would like to see on Toms.

They'll get it up soon, I'm not too upset about it. They'll probably be there before the week's out.
He's not really a member anyway, his five posts are all right here.

I work too, buddy. I just paid for college and a sager np5793 out of my pocket, and I'm still paying off my car. I run my own business and have 3 jobs on the side.
That laptop can come pretty darn close. And my GTP can leave dust to just about anything.

But we're here to help and have fun with each other, not to gloat in eachother's faces. :p

He probably just registered to post his frustration. Lots of people visit this site without registering on the forums. I only recently registered when my friend sent me a forum topic about game piracy, but up to that point I saw no reason or need to register. If you disregard everyone who isn't a registered forum member, you've just disregarded most of tomshardware's traffic :P

Rule of thumb for any website, though, is never "upgrade" to a new design without including new content (and never, ever, EVER sacrifice content or features for a new design, always build on the old and improve). The designers think it's awesome, but regular visitors probably couldn't care less.
